The total cost of 35,000 yen includes:
Mashiko Art Club 2 Days studio workshop rental and unlimited clay -we bring the raw work back to Tokyo to fire at ISSH or your own school/workplace
2 nights Shared accommodation in tatami rooms let Ste know about preferable room pairing
Many Mashiko pensions and onsens and hotels available if you want privacy:
3 day presenter's fee
presents food accommodation and transportation and expenses
2 healthy pancake breakfasts
Please buy your own lunches Saturday we drive into Mashiko center/ Sunday pick up from convenience store to eat in car on the way back to Tokyo
Friday dinner Euan guides us to prepare and cook our own pizzas cooked in our wood fired pizza oven on site
Saturday dinner at famous local Tonkatsu restaurant Chitoso 5 mins drive. Chitoso has a vegetarian option please buy your own drinks excluding drinks
Please bring your own beverages and treats to share at the potters inn and possibly a gift for Guest potter Ishijima san for giving us his generous time?
Transportation costs separate- shared cars/train by yourself/drive in your own car- can you offer spaces and share tolls and petrol please let Steve know.
Steve will get the car pools together with your information and requests.
There is a bus service to mashiko and a train service.
