About Us
Time in the countryside can make us feel better providing a tonic to give people’s wellbeing a real boost. Here at Goblin Community farm we aspire to meet the needs of those who are vulnerable; those living with dementia, reduced mobility, mental health issues or lost confidence. Viewing the farm’s animals in a natural, harmonious habitat together with perhaps helping to prepare fodder, feeding them and grooming/ handling them brings calming, therapeutic advantages in confidence, soothing the mind and forgetting anxieties
Barrier mangers divide the seating area from disabled parking spaces and offer opportunities for gardening; weeding and the planting of flowers and a herb/ sensory bed. The farmhouse garden is chiefly set to flat, level lawn and offers opportunities to stroll whilst enjoying flowers and plants in a beautiful countryside setting. The tree pod offers a rich sensory experience and hangs from the garden apple tree. Our sensory tent and other indoor activities are prepared but shelved until Covid restrictions can be lifted. Outdoor table tennis and a mini golf course are under construction and other outdoor resources include kite flying, frisbee, footballs, quoits, boules and rounders/ French cricket. Future plans include occupational therapy, arts and craft centre, nature walks/ study, a pamper room, private parties and yoga/ tai chi/ dance/ relaxation sessions to name a few.

Get Involved in the Volunteer Program
Goblin Farm is often looking for volunteers to do exciting jobs like bringing in the hay and mucking out the stables. As you can imagine running a farm with livestock is a 24/7 commitment.
If you have an idea how you may help us with any specific skills you may have please contact Lesley: goblincommunityfarm@outlook.com
